Book 1 of the new trilogy is now with my copy editor, and the outline for Book 2 is back from my literary editor. Whee! I’ve also seen the first thumbnails of the first cover. I can hardly wait to get these puppies published!

The next week or so I’ll be re-plotting and tweaking the outline for Book 2.

In case you couldn’t tell, I’m a plotter and not a pantser. In fact, I’d say I’m pretty much of an über plotter. I’ll sometimes write an outline that’s as long as a quarter of an entire novel. Those are just outline words. None of them end up in the novel itself. They’re just my notes to myself, about a paragraph per scene. Sometimes I even do diagrams (plot logic) and spreadsheets (with graphs for emotion and tension). And I always color code for characters.

Anyway, I think Book 1 looks good for a February release!
